What is a WAF?
A Web Application Firewall (WAF) carefully filters known CMS attacks and protects against SQL injections and cross-site scripting (XSS). We provide the firewall as part of our Cloudflare offer. For our Managed Servers, a Web Application Firewall can be activated via the module ‘mod-security’.
What is DDoS protection?
A distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack is a malicious attempt to disrupt the normal traffic of a targeted server, service or network by overwhelming the target or its surrounding infrastructure with a flood of Internet traffic. DDoS protection mitigates an attack by analyzing and filtering traffic to your server.
