Which FTP program do you recommend?

You will need an FTP or SFTP program in order to access the web space. For security reasons, access is only possible via secure FTP (SFTP) for Enterprise hosting. We recommend the following free programs:

Windows

FileZilla Client for FTP and SFTP
SmartFTP for FTP
WinSCP for SFTP

Mac OS X

Cyberduck for FTP and SFTP
Fetch for FTP and SFTP

GNU/Linux

FileZilla Client for FTP and SFTP
Konqueror for FTP and SFTP

In the case of FTP, it is preferable to use passive FTP transmission, so that the FTP server does not have to set up a link to the FTP client (this can cause problems with firewalls).
