Dedicated Server
A server system, to which only you have root access, ensures maximum performance with the highest degree of independence. Your Dedicated Server is directly connected to our high-performance backbone and ensures the highest possible bandwidth for performance-intensive Internet applications.
Server configuration
The Dedicated Server is pre-configured with a base installation of Ubuntu LTS or Debian Linux with kernel 2.6. For maximum freedom Nine preinstalles the operating system and let you commissioning the server services you want. These server services will be installed and configured on your own with your SSH login
Rescue system
You can take comprehensive control of your server system with the rescue system. In the case of a system error the server can be booted in rescue mode at all times and the cause of the system fault can be traced and corrected.
Data backup
You can perform data backup yourself from your Dedicated Server via SSH, SFTP or RSync and if required recover it. Further we offer BackupPC which provides a convenient web interface. When you select the backup management option, we will take care of the administration of the data backups.
DNS Service
DNS zones can be administered via a web interface in a comfortable and independent manner. When operating your own DNS server you can align your zones completely automatically via zone transfer (AXFR and NOTIFY) with our secondary DNS.
