General
Nine strives in all issues towards the goals availability, integrity and confidentiality. These goals are achieved by preventive measures, fast identification of problems and appropriate action.
Server Services
The system is checked on a regular basis and the correct updates and patches are installed if required. Additionally, log files and the file system are analyzed and possible irregularities are found on time (Managed Services).
Data centers
The safety measures of our data centers include physical access control, permanent video surveillance, emergency power supplies (Diesel generator, batteries), redundant Internet connection as well as fire extinguishing equipment (gas).
Network Connection
Nine monitors the traffic to identify irregularities and to react appropriately. All Internet connections and routers are redundant and the data centers are connected to the Internet redundant. Through the dark fibre connection service is secured even in a case of an interruption.
Firewall
By default we secure our servers through a software firewall. Alternatively you can choose our Nine Managed Firewall redundant, a hardware appliance, which will be installed in front of your servers to achieve an even higher security level.
Our comprehensive email infrastructure and sophisticated techniques achieve maximum protection from SPAM and viruses.
Backup
A file can easily be overwritten or deleted by accident. A safe and uncomplicated recovery of data, even in the case of a total loss, is ensured with daily backups. In order to increase safety even further, the backup infrastructure is situated off-site.
Privacy
Nine ensures absolutely confidential handling of your data: we never release information of any kind and after usage we destroy and dispose storage media of any kind.
